We are so excited to have you all travel to join us for our wedding in Medellin, Colombia and hope you will all enjoy visiting our amazing country!
Below we've included information about travel, lodging, and getting around Medellín.
Travel
We suggest planning to fly into José María Córdova International Airport (MDE). There are
many flights available with one stopover from most US cities. You also might choose to fly to Bogota (BOG) and then fly to Medellin.
Flight prices fluctuate, so track prices to find the best option. Flights from Orlando or Fort Lauderdale to Medellin are often around $300 dollars round trip depending on the airline.
(Keep in mind the lowest prices and direct may be Spirit Airlines.)
José María Córdova International Airport (MDE) Airport is located about 30-40 minutes (13 Miles) from the Click Clack Hotel
Airport Transfer/Uber
At the José María Córdova airport, you will find many white airport taxis that have an agreement to serve the airport. There are at least three companies offering white airport taxi services:

Rápido Medellín Rionegro
Using white airport taxis is the method to get from the Medellín international airport to Medellín, which most foreigners use. They will take you to any address in Medellín.
The fare into Medellin is about 80,000 pesos ($23 USD).
You can also take Uber into Medellin from the airport, though there is no offical Uber pickup zone. Drivers will likely request you to sit in the front seat. This is normal here, so do not be alarmed.

We encourage guests to stay at the Click Clack Hotel Medellin as this is where we have a special rate. Transportation to the Wedding Ceremony, Reception, and tours will depart from here. The hotel offers various amenities, including a rooftop pool, restaurants, and complimentary breakfast.
The Click Clack Hotel is located within the renowned El Poblado, which has a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment.
Prices for double occupancy are as follows (single occupancy will be about $ 15less/night):

House or Rental
If you wish to "explore the space" and find your own accommodations, we highly recommend guests limit their search to the borough of El Poblado, as it is considered one of the safest neighborhoods in Medellin.
Other alternatives include the municipality of Envigado, which is in the Southern part of the city, and has great scenery, but lacks hotel options. This area would be mostly for AirBnB rentals. For cheaper alternatives, downtown is a more budget-friendly sector and closer to many of the city’s museums, but it’s not as aesthetic as other areas.
Note, the reserved complimentary travel to and from the wedding will depart from the Click Clack Hotel, so if you are deviating from the script, please plan accordingly.
